Hikezilla Trail Points, Achievements & Rewards Rules

Last updated: 25 February 2026

1. Overview

Hikezilla may recognise eligible outdoor and community contributions through Trail Points, challenges, achievements, patches, rewards and achievement-gated perks. These rules supplement the Terms of Use. Current earning methods and eligibility criteria are shown on the relevant feature pages and may include approved challenges, volunteering, event contributions, referrals, community contributions or other expressly published activities.

2. Earning and verification

Points are awarded only where the applicable criteria are satisfied and any required evidence is accepted. Automated integrations, such as Strava, may assist verification but do not guarantee approval. We may review duplicate, erroneous, fraudulent or manipulated submissions and may reasonably refuse or reverse awards after reviewing relevant information. Do not upload falsified GPS records, misrepresent volunteer work or use multiple accounts to abuse the program. Where practicable, affected members may request review at hello@hikezilla.com.

3. Balance and ledger

Your displayed balance is derived from recorded earning and redemption activity. Processing delays or corrections may occur. If you identify an error, contact us with relevant details. We aim to preserve an auditable ledger; deletion of an underlying activity may result in a corresponding points reversal rather than silent alteration of historical transactions.

4. Nature of points

Trail Points are a platform participation/reward mechanism, not money, cryptocurrency, a bank deposit or a cash-equivalent balance. They cannot be sold, transferred or redeemed for cash unless Hikezilla expressly announces a lawful feature to that effect. They do not create a guaranteed entitlement to any specific reward. Nothing here excludes non-excludable consumer rights.

5. Expiry and program changes

Trail Points do not currently expire solely due to passage of time. We may prospectively change earning criteria, reward prices, eligibility or the program for legitimate operational reasons with reasonable notice where practicable. We will not retrospectively cancel valid balances arbitrarily; fraud, error corrections and other disclosed grounds may still require adjustments.

6. Rewards Store and fulfilment

Reward listings identify their points cost, eligibility, stock and any conditions. Availability may change. A redemption is subject to verification and fulfilment. For physical rewards we may request a delivery name/address and share necessary information with a courier. Physical rewards ship to Australian addresses only. Delivery estimates, regions, substitutions, cancellations and treatment of unsuccessful redemptions are clearly communicated on the relevant listing.

7. Achievements, patches and perks

Digital achievements recognise stated milestones. Physical patches may be subject to availability, proof, postage and fulfilment conditions. Perks can require achievement status or other published eligibility; a perk is not necessarily a Trail Points purchase. External benefits may be subject to the provider's terms. No specific reward, patch or perk is guaranteed to remain available indefinitely.

8. Giveaways and promotions

Giveaways, competitions and prize draws have separate promotion-specific terms, including eligibility, entry period, prize, winner selection, fulfilment and any permits/authority required by law. Trail Points rules do not replace those conditions. No entry or purchase requirement should be implied unless explicitly stated in the relevant promotion.

9. Account closure and disputes

If you close your account, any unspent Trail Points lapse. Pending reward requests that have already been confirmed will still be honoured. Members may raise points or redemption concerns at hello@hikezilla.com. We will review relevant ledger and verification records fairly. Nothing in these rules removes rights under applicable Australian law.
