Sep 29, 2026 3 min readAustralia · NSW
The short version
NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service is conducting an ongoing 1080 ground baiting program in Nocoleche Nature Reserve from 29 September to 29 December 2026. The program uses 1080 poison to control Wild Dogs.
Why this matters — from Rex
Exercise extreme caution and keep all pets restrained or avoid the area, as 1080 ground baiting is active and highly toxic to domestic animals.
