Sep 27, 2026 3 min readAustralia · NSW
The short version
NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service is conducting a 1080 ground baiting program in Narrawallee Creek Nature Reserve from 21 July 2026 to 21 December 2026. This operation uses 1080 poison to control foxes.
Why this matters — from Rex
When visiting Narrawallee Creek Nature Reserve during this period, keep pets on a leash or consider leaving them at home, and supervise children closely as 1080 bait is highly toxic.
