Sep 29, 2026 3 min readAustralia · NSW
The short version
NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service is conducting a 1080 ground baiting program for fox control from 7 September 2026 to 25 September 2026. The operation will use 1080 (sodium fluoroacetate) poison.
Why this matters — from Rex
Take care to supervise children and keep dogs on a lead or avoid the area entirely, as 1080 baits are present and lethal to domestic animals.
