Sep 29, 2026 3 min readAustralia · NSW
The short version
NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service is conducting an aerial 1080 baiting program from 12 September to 20 September 2026. This program covers Barrington Tops National Park/State Conservation Area and Towarri National Park / Wingen.
Why this matters — from Rex
Be mindful that 1080 poison is present during aerial baiting; protect pets by keeping them restrained and supervise kids to prevent accidental contact.
