4-season Tent
A tent generally designed for more demanding wind and snow conditions, usually heavier, stronger and less ventilated.
In the wild
"We took a 4-season tent for the winter traverse."
Why it matters
A 4-season label doesn't guarantee safety in alpine conditions. Performance varies greatly between models, and pitching and site choice matter.
Safety: Season ratings are not safety certifications.
