The Coast walking track (Wyrrabalong)

Central Coast, NSW

A 3 km one-way clifftop walk in Wyrrabalong National Park between Bateau Bay and Forresters Beach, via Crackneck and Wyrrabalong lookouts.

About this place

Do not confuse this with the Royal National Park Coast Track. Wyrrabalong's Coast walking track is a short, scenic clifftop path through a narrow strip of forest between Bateau Bay Beach picnic area and Forresters Beach. NPWS lists it as 3 km one-way, 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 45 minutes. Highlights are Crackneck Point lookout, Wyrrabalong lookout, whale watching in winter and flannel flowers and ground orchids in spring. Walk one way and bus or car-shuffle, or return for about 6 km.
