About this place
NPWS describes a lookout about 1.5 km beyond Glow Worm Tunnel, and around the 8 km mark of the Wolgan Valley loop, with expansive views of Donkey Mountain, Wolgan Valley and Penrose Gorge. It is the main signed Wolgan view from the plateau walks, not a roadside car lookout. Combined with pagodas and the tunnel it is the scenic payoff of the Newnes Plateau day walks while the valley road remains closed.
Access & getting there
Walk from Glow Worm Tunnel carpark (6 km return via the tunnel, or 9 km loop via Pagoda Track). No vehicle lookout. No dogs.

Safety notes
Cliff edges. NPWS says the track beyond the lookout is not suitable for children. Check rain closures.
