Willandra Homestead
Inland, NSW
Restored Big Willandra station near Hillston — a separate national park from Mungo’s Willandra Lakes.
About this place
Willandra Homestead at 91 Willandra Entrance Road, Hillston, is the heart of Willandra National Park, a pastoral landscape on Willandra Creek — not Mungo / Willandra Lakes World Heritage. NPWS invites you to walk through restored sitting rooms, office, schoolhouse, meat house and laundry, then barbecue on the lawns and watch waterbirds. Park entry $8 self-registration. Unsealed Mossgiel and Whealbah roads close after rain; the campground and parts of Nilla Yannagalang Billana have had safety closures — check alerts.
