About this place
NPWS lists West Rim walking track as 3.5 km return (1.5 to 2.5 hours), a moderate family walk from Fitzroy Falls Visitor Centre along the western escarpment of Morton National Park to Renown Lookout. Coachwood, bloodwood and lilly pilly forest open to gorge and waterfall views; boronia and chocolate lilies appear in spring. The main waterfall lookout is only a short accessible stroll from the centre. Park entry is $4 per vehicle per day at Fitzroy Falls.
Access & getting there
Start at the visitor centre carpark on Nowra Road (Moss Vale Road). About 20 minutes from Moss Vale. East Rim and Wildflower tracks offer a longer alternative. Pay the vehicle fee at the machine.
