Walls Cave walking track
Blue Mountains, NSW
Short steep Blackheath walk to a huge sandstone cave, slot canyon and creek stepping stones.
About this place
Walls Cave Track starts at the end of Walls Cave Road in Blackheath and drops to a large sandstone overhang with a viewing platform, creek stepping stones and a small slot canyon. Published track notes put the return at about 1.9 km and 45-60 minutes, Grade 3, with many steps. The cave is a significant Aboriginal women's site; stay on the platform and do not enter the cave. Distinct from Walls Lookout at Pierces Pass. Pulpit Rock nearby remains closed and is not part of this walk.
