About this place
NPWS Wajurda Point walking track is a 0.5 km, about 19 minute easy walk from Moon Bay carpark through shady eucalypt forest to a lookout on the point. Views take in Nelson Beach, Baronda Head, Mimosa Rocks, Mumbulla Mountain and Gulaga (Mount Dromedary). It is billed as the best coastal view in Mimosa Rocks National Park and a whale-watching perch in winter and spring. A short, high-payoff Mimosa Rocks stop if you are not camping at Aragunnu or Gillards.
Access & getting there
Start at Moon Bay carpark. Easy short walk. No dogs. Park may close for fire danger or poor weather.
