About this place
Thredbo Mountain Bike Park is NSW's only chairlift-serviced gravity park, with more than 40 km of lift-accessed trails, skills parks, valley XC, two pump tracks and a certified MTB school (thredbo.com.au). Signature downhill is Cannonball, a black-diamond trail from the Kosciuszko Express with a compulsory full-face helmet. This is a separate product from NPWS Thredbo Valley Track. The 2025/26 park season closed after the February 2026 Cannonball Festival; 2026/27 Gravity Pass access is advertised 21 November 2026 to 26 April 2027, with opening weekend 21-22 November 2026. Lift tickets or a Gravity Pass required. E-bikes are allowed on designated park trails under Thredbo's published conditions.
Access & getting there
Park in Thredbo village or Friday Flat. Kosciuszko National Park vehicle entry fees apply. Bike park closed in winter ski season and between advertised summer dates. Not the Thredbo Valley Track.
