The Skillion
Central Coast, NSW
Terrigal's distinctive triangular headland above Terrigal Haven, a short steep climb for 360-degree Central Coast and ocean views.
About this place
The Skillion is the named cape at the southern end of Terrigal Beach, rising above Terrigal Haven and the rock pool. OpenStreetMap maps it as a natural cape at Terrigal NSW 2260. A formed walking track climbs from the Haven carpark to the grassy summit; it is steep, exposed and unfenced in places. Views take in Terrigal Beach, the lagoon and the run of coast toward Avoca and Bouddi. It is a local sunrise and whale-season lookout rather than a long hike. Swim afterward at the Haven or the patrolled surf beach, not off the rock platforms.
