The Entrance Beach
Central Coast, NSW
Patrolled ocean beach beside The Entrance channel, with art-deco surf club, ocean baths and Tuggerah Lake a few streets inland.
About this place
The Entrance Beach is the ocean strip on Marine Parade where Tuggerah Lake meets the sea. It is a classic Central Coast holiday beach: seasonal patrols, The Entrance SLSC in an art-deco building, and The Entrance Ocean Baths nearby. Pelican feeding on the channel and the shops on The Entrance Road sit a short walk west. Use it as a swim-and-fish stop when you are exploring Wyrrabalong to the south or Norah Head to the north. North Entrance Beach continues the same ocean beach across the channel.
Access & getting there
Paid and street parking along Marine Parade. Bus from Gosford and Wyong. Ocean baths and channel foreshore are a short walk.

Safety notes
Swim between the flags when patrolled. Channel currents are strong — do not swim in the entrance itself.
