Terrigal Beach
Central Coast, NSW
The Central Coast's liveliest surf beach — a long crescent of sand, The Skillion headland and a walkable town behind it.
About this place
Terrigal is the Central Coast beach with a town attached. The surf beach is patrolled, the rock pool and Terrigal Haven sit under The Skillion, and the walk up that headland is a short, steep hit of coastline. Good for a post-hike swim if you have been in Bouddi, or as a base for a weekend of coastal walking. The esplanade cafes make it easy; the beach itself is the reason to come. Swim between the flags — this is open ocean.
Access & getting there
Paid parking along the esplanade. Buses from Gosford. Walk The Skillion from Terrigal Haven at the southern end.
Terrigal Esplanade, Terrigal NSW 2260
Safety notes
Swim between the flags. Rips are common. The Skillion has cliff edges and no fence in places.
