Red Rock Beach
North Coast, NSW
The small headland village at the southern edge of Yuraygir National Park, where red rock platforms meet a surf beach and the Corindi River.
About this place
Red Rock (Red Rock–Corindi) is the southern gateway to Yuraygir National Park, north of Coffs. The village sits on a headland of iron-stained rock above a surf beach and the Corindi River estuary. It is a logical extra if you have already listed the Yuraygir coastal walk: come here for a swim, a headland wander and the start of park tracks toward Station Creek and Wooli. The area is significant to Gumbaynggirr people. There is a picnic area, boat ramp on the river, and basic village services.
Access & getting there
Turn off the Pacific Highway at Red Rock / Corindi. Parking at the beach and headland. Yuraygir NP tracks continue north; park fees may apply in the park.
Red Rock Beach, Red Rock NSW 2456
