About this place
Pretty Beach to Durras Mountain walking track is the Durras extra besides Pebbly Beach campground. NPWS lists 10km return, Grade 4, 3-5 hours from Pretty Beach picnic area, with coastal views and birdwatching. Very steep in places, occasional steps. It is a half-day walk on the Murramarang South Coast Walk network. Park at Pretty Beach picnic area. Start early; carry water for the climb. Clear winter and autumn days give the best summit views over the park and the Tasman Sea.
Access & getting there
Northern precinct of Murramarang National Park. Parking at Pretty Beach picnic area / carpark. Same access as Pretty Beach campground.

Very steep. Carry extra water. Unpatrolled beaches if you detour. Tell someone your plans.
