Pebbly Beach campground
South Coast, NSW
Murramarang's kangaroo beach camp — unpowered sites a stroll from the sand south of Batemans Bay.
About this place
Pebbly Beach campground in Murramarang National Park is the south coast classic where eastern grey kangaroos graze the foreshore at dusk. NPWS allocates unpowered sites among the trees, a short walk from the beach, with basic amenities including cold showers and tank water. Sealed access via Mount Agony Road from East Lynne suits 2WD; the older Pebbly Beach Road is unsealed. Book well ahead. Kangaroos are wild — do not feed or touch them. Depot Beach is the neighbouring cove if sites are full.
Access & getting there
From Princes Highway at East Lynne take sealed Mount Agony Road, then the signed right into the campground. Book via NPWS. Park entry and camping fees apply.
