Palm Jungle Loop Track
Royal National Park, NSW
Challenging 10km Royal National Park loop from Garawarra Farm to Burning Palms beach through rainforest, cliffs and cabbage-tree palms.
About this place
Palm Jungle loop is the Burning Palms leftover that is not The Coast Track. From Garawarra Farm you drop Burgh Ridge to The Coast Track, swing past the historic beach shacks onto Burning Palms for a swim, then climb through palm jungle to Werrong lookout and back through woodland. NPWS: 10km loop, Grade 4, 4-6 hours, rough track. Optional extra south to Figure Eight Pools only at low tide and low swell — check the risk tool; Figure Eight itself is already in the Hikezilla set so treat it as optional. Strong rips at Burning Palms. Park Connections bus can drop you at Garawarra Farm.
