NPWS Glow Worm Tunnel via Wolgan Valley loop is a 9 km Grade 4 circuit (4-5 hours) from Glow Worm Tunnel carpark. After 1.5 km, turning right onto Pagoda Track leads through angophoras, waratahs and platy pagoda rock toward a four-way junction, then the old railway formation, a lookout over Donkey Mountain and Wolgan Valley, Penrose Gorge, and the Glow Worm Tunnel. This is the Wollemi/Newnes pagoda walk, distinct from Lost City in Gardens of Stone SCA. The Newnes side may close after heavy rain.
Access & getting there
Same trailhead as Glow Worm Tunnel walking track. NPWS suggests walking the loop anti-clockwise so the tunnel comes last. No dogs. No reception.

Safety notes
Grade 4 remote walk. Carry water and a torch. Check alerts for rockfall and flood closures toward Newnes. Stay on the track around fragile pagodas.
