About this place
Narrow Neck Plateau is a long, narrow ridge extending south from Katoomba, flanked on both sides by spectacular valley views. The firetrail stretches approximately 10km along the ridge, making it ideal for hiking, trail running, and mountain biking. The out-and-back route offers sweeping views of the Jamison Valley to the east and the Megalong Valley to the west. It's also a key access route for longer multi-day walks deep into the Blue Mountains wilderness via Bluegum Swamp and the Coxs River.
