Mountain Equipment Sydney
Sydney CBD, NSW
Sydney's specialist climbing and alpine shop — technical outdoor gear with staff who actually use it.
About this place
Mountain Equipment's city store at 491 Kent Street is a long-running independent specialist for climbing, mountaineering and serious hiking kit. The range leans technical — ropes, hardware, alpine boots and lightweight shelter — rather than generalist camping. If you are planning a Blue Mountains crag day or a Snowies trip and want advice from climbers, this is the CBD stop.
