NPWS describes Lost City lookout as the gateway to Lost City walking track, a picnic and viewing area 400 m from the carpark with tables and benches over pagodas and Marrangaroo Creek. It is the easiest Gardens of Stone pagoda experience if you do not want the full 6 km walk. Fragile ironstone-banded pagodas are unique to this plateau; stay on constructed paths.
Access & getting there
Drive from Lithgow to Lost City carpark, then walk 400 m. No dogs.
