Lake Toolooma Trail
Heathcote National Park, NSW
Short Heathcote National Park walk from Waterfall to a hidden dam wall — the quiet neighbour of Royal NP.
About this place
Lake Toolooma is the Heathcote National Park leftover: a 1.2km, about one hour return from the northern end of Warabin Street, Waterfall. Follow Warabin Street Trail to Bullawarring Track, then Lake Toolooma Trail south with the valley on your right. A faint pad drops to the dam wall of this well-hidden reservoir. NPWS map grades it medium. Heathcote NP is the place to go when Royal is jammed — Pipeline Trail, Kingfisher Pool and Lake Eckersley sit on the same network. Bush camping at Mirang Pool, Lake Eckersley and Kingfisher Pool needs a permit; this dam-wall walk does not.
