Kalang Falls walk
Blue Mountains, NSW
1.6 km one-way Kanangra Walls path to views of Kalang and Kanangra falls, Thurat Spires and Kanangra Deep.
About this place
NPWS Kalang Falls walk is 1.6 km one way, about 30 minutes, Grade Medium, from Kanangra Walls carpark. Follow the lookout walk then the Waterfall walk along an exposed spine of rock with views of Kanangra Deep, Kanangra Walls and Thurat Spires. NPWS notes Australian red cedar in the gorge (new red growth in late spring) and flame robins at the edges of the day. This is extra to the existing Kanangra Walls Walk and Kanangra-Boyd Lookout listings. Ice and wind are serious in winter.
