Hyams Beach
Jervis Bay, NSW
Jervis Bay's famous squeaky white quartz sand and turquoise water, facing Point Perpendicular across the bay.
About this place
Hyams Beach is a small village on Jervis Bay whose fine quartz sand and clear water have made it one of the most visited beaches on the NSW south coast. The shoreline looks east to Point Perpendicular, Bowen Island and HMAS Creswell; Chinaman's Beach sits to the north and Seaman's to the south, with Jervis Bay National Park and Booderee closing the bush behind. The beach is unpatrolled. Village parking is tiny and often full — NPWS and Shoalhaven both recommend parking at Greenfield Beach and walking the White Sands Walk instead.
Access & getting there
Very limited parking in the village; expect it to be full on weekends and holidays. Park at Greenfield Beach (Vincentia) and take White Sands Walk. Unpatrolled.
Cyrus St, Hyams Beach NSW 2540

Unpatrolled. Rips can form. Do not feed wildlife. Respect residential streets — do not block driveways.
