Hat Hill
Blue Mountains, NSW
Named Grose rim peak beside Hat Hill Road, a short unfenced high point on the way to Anvil Rock and Perrys Lookdown.
About this place
Hat Hill is the named peak on the Blackheath plateau that gives Hat Hill Road its name, sitting between the village and the Grose escarpment lookouts. OpenStreetMap records the peak on the rim country used to reach Anvil Rock and Perrys Lookdown. It is not a fenced NPWS platform; expect a short rough walk from the road to an unfenced summit. Pulpit Rock Reserve further along the old clifftop link remains closed.
Access & getting there
Drive Hat Hill Road from Blackheath. Do not block the road. Pulpit Rock Reserve is closed. No dogs in national park sections.
