Glenbrook Gorge track
Blue Mountains, NSW
Short but challenging 3 km return rock-hop down Glenbrook Gorge past 1911 railway tunnel rubble toward the Nepean.
About this place
NPWS lists Glenbrook Gorge track as a 3 km return, 1.5-2.5 hour adventurous walk in the Glenbrook area of Blue Mountains National Park. From the carpark the track drops to Glenbrook Creek then rock-hops the gorge. Look for the historic 1911 railway tunnel spoil on the sandbar where the creek meets the Nepean. The formed track ends at the creek and does not continue along the creek line. Park gates and an $8 vehicle fee apply. Dangerous when flooded after rain.
