Gillards campground
South Coast, NSW
A 40-site beach camp in Mimosa Rocks National Park near Tathra — the extra to already-listed Aragunnu, with surf, fishing and bush behind the dunes.
About this place
Gillards campground (Gillards Beach) is the family-friendly Mimosa Rocks alternative to Aragunnu: 40 unpowered sites for tents, camper trailers and caravans on Gillards Road, Nelson, with toilets, barbecues, picnic tables and a sandy beach a short walk from camp. Surf, fish and walk the beach; there is no drinking water so bring your own. Maximum stay two weeks in school holidays, four weeks otherwise. Book online. Aragunnu, Middle Beach and Picnic Point are the other Mimosa Rocks camps if Gillards is full.
Access & getting there
From the Tathra–Bermagui Road take Gillards Road into the park. Book online. Bring drinking and cooking water and firewood if fires are permitted.
