Fiddens Wharf walking track
Lane Cove National Park, NSW
A short, steep 3km Grade 4 loop in Lane Cove NP to Fiddens Wharf Oval — bush, river and a full-size sports field.
About this place
NPWS lists Fiddens Wharf walking track as a 3km Grade 4 loop, 1–2 hours, near West Killara in Lane Cove National Park. It is short and steep, dropping to Fiddens Wharf Oval, a large sports field fringed by bushland and the river — cricket, soccer or a picnic once you have done the stairs. The track is clearly signposted. Park entry fees apply. Combine with the Riverside walking track or Great North Walk if you want more than the oval. Toilets and a playing field make it one of the more family-practical Lane Cove walks, provided everyone can handle the climb back out.
Access & getting there
Access from Carramar Road, Lindfield / West Killara. Park entry fees. Park hours 9am–7pm daylight saving, 9am–6pm otherwise. No dogs. Steep return climb.
