Estabar sits at 61 Shortland Esplanade, looking over Newcastle Beach at the east end of the Bathers Way. They serve seriously good coffee, a menu built around local fruit and vegetables, and house-made seasonal gelato from 6:30am daily. It is the classic post-coastal-walk or post-surf breakfast before you continue to Merewether, the Bogey Hole, or back into town.
