Echo Point Lookout
Blue Mountains, NSW
The classic Katoomba platform facing the Three Sisters, Mount Solitary and Jamison Valley.
About this place
Echo Point is NSW's best-known Blue Mountains viewpoint, managed by Blue Mountains City Council on the national park boundary. From the railed decks you see the Three Sisters Aboriginal Place, Ruined Castle and Mount Solitary. It is the gateway to Three Sisters walk, Giant Stairway and Prince Henry Cliff Walk. The visitor centre is open 9 am to 4 pm (closed Christmas Day). Expect crowds; sunrise and dusk are the quietest light.
