Eagle Rock
Sutherland Shire, NSW
Sandstone eagle-head cliff at Curracurrong where a waterfall drops into the sea — Coast Track and Curra Moors highlight.
About this place
Eagle Rock is the sandstone cliff profile at Curracurrong between Wattamolla and Garie. NPWS flags it as Eagle Rock lookout on The Coast Track near Curracurrang Cove, and as a short detour north of Curracurrong waterfall on the Curra Moors loop. After rain, Curracurrong Falls sheets off the cliff into the ocean beside the eagle-shaped headland. Not a sealed lookout — you walk in. Stay off the unfenced edge; scrambling onto the beak is not a marked NPWS path. OSM locality Curracurrong: 34.15334°S 151.09824°E.
Access & getting there
