Dry Tank campground is the main overnight base in Gundabooka National Park: marked unpowered sites, non-flush toilets and free gas or electric barbecues. There is no drinking water — the name is a hint. Walk to Little Mountain lookout, picnic at Dry Tank picnic area, or use it as a Bourke outback stop before Toorale. Book with NPWS.
Access & getting there
Unsealed access south of Bourke. Bring all drinking water. Book online. Park closes in wet weather or fire danger.
