Darkes Cider is made at Glenbernie Orchard, 259 Darkes Forest Road, the last commercial orchard in Darkes Forest on the Illawarra Escarpment. The farm shop pours award-winning apple cider, honey mead and juice, with pick-your-own fruit in season. It is a natural add-on to a Dharawal or Royal National Park walk — cider among the trees rather than a city taproom.
