Curra Moors Loop Track
Royal National Park, NSW
10km heath and clifftop loop in eastern Royal National Park to Curracurrong waterfall, with an optional detour toward Eagle Rock.
About this place
Curra Moors is the inland-to-coast leftover that is not The Coast Track full length. From Curra Moors carpark on Sir Bertram Stevens Drive you walk scribbly gum and angophora into heath, then hit the clifftops for Curracurrong waterfall and a short detour north toward Eagle Rock. NPWS: 10km loop, Grade 4, 4-5 hours. Spring wildflowers (hakeas especially) are the point of going. The track bogs after rain. You join a slice of coastline without committing to Bundeena–Otford.
Access & getting there
From Audley, Sir Bertram Stevens Drive past Wattamolla Road; carpark signed on the left. From Waterfall, McKell Avenue then left on Sir Bertram Stevens Drive, past Garie Road about 1km, carpark on the right. $12 per vehicle. Limited parking on weekends.
