Cullendulla Beach track
South Coast, NSW
An easy 2km return Batemans Bay walk to a sheltered beach, mangroves and a canoe launch on Cullendulla Creek.
About this place
Cullendulla Beach track is the Batemans leftover in Cullendulla Creek Nature Reserve, next to Surfside. NPWS lists 2km return, Grade 3, 30 minutes to 1 hour, flat with no steps — a secluded stretch of sand in the protected waters of Batemans Bay for swimming, birding and launching a canoe up the creek. Oystercatchers, soldier crabs and black swans use the flats; Snapper Island and the Tollgates sit offshore. Park off Myamba Parade, Surfside. A genuine alternative to the ocean beaches south of town.
