Copacabana Beach

Central Coast, NSW

A Central Coast surf beach between Avoca and MacMasters, backed by a headland walk and a small village.

About this place

Copacabana Beach sits in a sandy bay on the Bouddi Peninsula, between Avoca Beach to the north and MacMasters to the south. It is a patrolled surf beach in season, popular with families and board riders, with rock baths at the southern end and a short headland walk toward Mullaghmore. The village cafes are a straightforward post-swim stop. Combine with MacMasters Beach and the Bouddi coastal walk further south if you want national-park coastline the same day.

Access & getting there

Parking along Del Monte Place and at the surf club. Bus services from Gosford/Erina. Busy in summer school holidays.
