About this place

NPWS lists it open 8 am to 3 pm daily (closed Christmas Day), serving lunches, snacks and coffee with views to Mount Solitary. The mud-brick building (rebuilt 1989) is a long-time Conservation Society meeting place. Valley of the Waters, Nature Track and Shortcut Track to the picnic area start here. Pets are not allowed because it is inside the national park. Groups of 8 or more should book.
