6 km return clifftop walk between Govetts Leap and Evans Lookout with Grose Valley views and Barrow Lookout.
About this place
NPWS lists Cliff Top walking track as a 6 km return, 3-3.5 hour walk along the escarpment from Govetts Leap lookout to Evans lookout. It crosses windswept heath, she-oaks and banksias, with birdwatching and spring wildflowers. Barrow Lookout gives waterfall views back to Govetts Leap. The track passes the Braeside walking track junction at Govetts Leap Brook. Picnic at Evans lookout then retrace, or arrange a car shuffle. Rodriguez Pass below remains closed.
Access & getting there
Start at either Govetts Leap (Govetts Leap Road) or Evans Lookout (Evans Lookout Road). Fairfax Track links the Heritage Centre to Govetts Leap. No dogs.

Safety notes
Cliff edges. Stay on the track. Govetts descent and Rodriguez Pass are closed due to rockfalls. Do not drop into the valley from this walk.
