Cameron Corner

Sturt, NSW

Survey post where NSW, Queensland and South Australia meet, via Sturt NP and the Dingo Fence.

About this place

Cameron Corner is the remote tri-state marker west of Tibooburra, reached through Sturt National Park past Fort Grey campground and the Dingo Fence. The corner post is the classic Corner Country photo stop; Cameron Corner Store sits just over the South Australian side for fuel and meals when open. NPWS treats the NSW approach as part of Sturt touring. Leave gates as you find them and carry extra fuel and water.

Access & getting there

Unsealed road west from Tibooburra through Sturt NP. 2WD when dry; sandy dune sections and 4WD after rain. Park entry $8 while in Sturt. Last NSW fuel in Tibooburra. Confirm Corner Store opening. No dogs in the national park. Dingo Fence gates — close them.
