About this place
Cahills Lookout is a fenced Cliff Drive viewpoint in Katoomba looking west to Megalong Valley, Narrow Neck Plateau and Megalong Head rather than the Jamison Valley. A short walk from the paid carpark leads to a main platform and two lower decks with steps. Boars Head Lookout is on the same path. No NPWS closure applies to this council lookout. Dogs on a lead are commonly accepted on this Cliff Drive precinct.
Access & getting there
Drive Cliff Drive west of Scenic World / Katoomba Falls. Metered parking. Local buses stop on Acacia Street and Narrow Neck Road.
