Bradleys Head
Lower North Shore, NSW
A harbour-headland lookout in Mosman — Opera House, Harbour Bridge and the HMAS Sydney mast in one frame.
About this place
Bradleys Head is one of the best places to stand on Sydney Harbour without a ferry ticket. The sandstone point in Sydney Harbour National Park looks straight at the Opera House and Bridge, with the tripod mast of HMAS Sydney as a foreground. Walking tracks link through to Chowder Bay, Athol Hall and Taronga, so you can make a half-day of the Mosman foreshore. Come at golden hour; the harbour does the rest.
Access & getting there
Vehicle entry fee applies at Bradleys Head. Walking tracks connect to Chowder Bay and Taronga.
