About this place
Baltzer Lookout sits on Burramoko Head at the end of the NPWS Burramoko Ridge trail, an open cliff-edge viewpoint rather than a fenced platform. NPWS notes cyclists should leave bikes at the turning circle and walk up. Views take in the Grose Wilderness. A steep informal path drops left toward Hanging Rock; that scramble is exposed and optional.
Access & getting there
Walk or ride the Burramoko Ridge trail from the Ridgewell Road locked gate (10 km return). No vehicle access to the lookout. No dogs.

Safety notes
Completely unfenced. Fatal cliff drop. Keep well back from the edge. Wilderness group limit of 8.
