Avoca Beach
Central Coast, NSW
A wide Central Coast surf beach with a lagoon, ocean pool and a laid-back village — handy after a Bouddi walk.
About this place
Avoca sits between Terrigal and MacMasters, a long patrolled surf beach with Avoca Lake at the northern end and an ocean pool at the south. The village is low-key compared with Terrigal, which is why surfers and families keep coming back. MacMasters, the southern end of the Bouddi coastal walk, is the next bay along, so Avoca works as a swim-and-feed stop after the hike. Swim between the flags; the lake is a different, calmer proposition when it is open.
