Adventure Base Katoomba
Blue Mountains, NSW
Australia's specialist canyoning shop in Katoomba, also stocking climbing and hiking kit for the Greater Blue Mountains.
About this place
Adventure Base at 160 Katoomba Street grew out of canyon guiding — they started by sourcing Bestard canyon shoes for friends and now run a boutique shop focused on canyoning, climbing and hiking. Expect wetsuits, canyon packs, descenders, ropes, Hyperlite Mountain Gear and local guidebooks. Call ahead if you are driving up from Sydney; they sometimes close to run a guided tour. Short-term parking is behind the store.
