4 Pines was born as a Manly brewpub, and this East Esplanade site is still where the original micro-brewery sits. Thirteen taps, a balcony over the harbour, and a full kitchen — it is the obvious cold drink after walking in from Spit Bridge or finishing a swim at Manly. Open seven days from 11am. If you want the industrial-scale brewery experience that is Brookvale; if you want a pint you can walk to from the sand, this is the one.
Access & getting there
Opposite Manly Wharf. Ferry from Circular Quay is the right way to arrive. Open 11am daily (Sunday to 10pm, other days later).
