Wentworth Falls via Valley of Waters, Lindeman & Copeland Pass (22km, 1400m)

Starting in Wentworth Falls we will make our way to Vera Falls via the stunning Valley of the Waters. Lots of amazing waterfalls to check out and most of the walk is shaded and cool, from here we will merge into Lindeman Pass (the east side, not from Leura) and then exit up Copeland Pass (steep!), once we get up to the top, we will loop back to Wentworth Falls via clifftop walks etc. Distance: 22km Elevation/Ascent: 1,400 m Pace: 3.5 – 4.5km p/h Terrain: Steep sections with some climbing over/under fallen trees. Lindeman Pass may be slippery, especially after rain, so good shoes required. Exposure to heights: Some exposure due to walking along steep tracks and up steps over big drops. Early exits: A few Getting there: 6.47am replacement bus from Central Station, connecting to train from Penrith Preparations: Bring plenty of water (at least 2L), wear sensible hiking shoes, a hat and sun screen. Bring snacks and lunch as required. Gratuity: The Gratuity for this event is $10. This also covers all events in 2022.
