Hi everyone! Vivid Sydney is back in August 2021! Please join us for this special Fundraising event. Donation Fee: We are asking for a $5 donation for this fundraising event. This is tax deductible, so if you would like a tax receipt please send us a message with your full name and email to confirm you have paid and we can organise this for you. We will take cash on the day, or if your prefer to pay using Pay ID let us know. More details about the fundraiser can be found below. Description: Vivid Sydney warms the soul of our city with light artists, music makers and brilliant thinkers. Spark your sense of wonder and come out to play as Sydney transforms into a playground of the unexpected. We would like to invite all our members (Sydney Hiking, Long Hikes, Sydney Walking and Hiking Group & LGBTQI+ & Friends Hiking) to join us for a night walk at the CBD during Vivid Sydney as we try to raise funds for our Oxfam Team: https://trailwalker.oxfam.org.au/t/the-owens We will start at Wynyard, head to the Rocks, where we will stop and enjoy some food from the night markets, hosting a range of tasty treats — from pizza to gozleme, okonomiyaki to gelato — to keep you fuelled for the rest of our light-chasing adventures. We will then go to circular quay & botanical gardens, to the city and surrounds, then to darling harbour and finishing off at Barangaroo and then back to Wynyard. Vivid location here: https://www.vividsydney.com/locations Itinerary: 6.00pm: Meet at Wynyard station 6.45pm: Stop for 20mins in The Rocks to grab some food from the night market 9.15pm: Finish at Wynyard Details: Distance: roughly 9km Pace: Relaxed pace as we take in all the light displays and enjoy snacks along the way Exit Point: Plenty, it’s in the city.
